Catching Up

I've been juggling several clients lately. I get overwhelmed when I am so busy. I think I would do better to work on one client at a time and not move on to the next one until I am done...but I often wait on emails from clients so I need to jump around so I don't fall way behind. I've had several hours this afternoon to get lots of clients crossed off my list. I hope that frees up some time to email waiting clients this evening.

I just completed a new blog design for repeat client Dimari. She's been waiting to adopt from China and recently accepted a referral of an adorable little boy. So her blog went from Ladybugs & Dragonflies to Cowboys & Dragonflies.I also worked with Susan, whose blog I did in February. She wants to update her blog seasonally. She did nearly all the designing this time and I did all the installation and link updates. Head on over to Blackberry Cottage and leave Susan some luv for doing a great job on her own design!!I also created some banners & buttons for upcoming blog events for Kelli of 3 Boys & a Dog, updated Meghan's header with new ultrasound pics, and created a graphic for Color Me Home to print on tshirts. Some Updates

Jodi had me update her blog with a new look. She had a graphic designer create the logo & header and I did the install and updated all the links.Pat who was a client from a long time ago contacted me to say that they had received their adoption referral. I was THRILLED to be one of the first to see the photos of her daughter and to update her blog. I offer a free photo update for events such as adoption referral or a birth. That is one of my favorite parts of this business!! Congrats to Pat & John!

I've been wanting to update some of our blogs for a while, but it's hard to take the time when you have clients waiting. My daughter's blog got a cute new design~I also gave our (impending) vacation blog a fun look with an animated header~
My personal blog is in need of a new look, but you know how moms are...they always put themselves last!!

Seasonal Changes

Robin is one of my regular clients. We have a nice agreement worked out where I do blog design and graphics for her and she sews for my daughter. One of the things she is having me do is change her blog appearance with each season/time of the year. Last month she had a patriotic design and now it's back to school!

Updated Blog

One of my favorite parts of blog design is getting to add an adoption referral pic to a header. Jenny recently got her approval for her sweet daughter in China and I added her beautiful photo to the header. Jenny's blog is private, so I blurred the photo. Being able to see people's private blog is another privilege of blog design that I enjoy!

Updated Blog

Kimberly at Mission Mommy contacted me because she wanted a new look to her recently redesigned blog. Apparently the istock image used in the header had been seen on other blogs and she wanted something different. She asked if it was just possible to change the header and the button. I was able to create a header with photos of her kids in it and it matched the colors of what she already had. I also added a favicon and numbering for her comments.

It's Twins!!

I have been wanting to do a multiples blog for a long time and I finally got my wish. Even more importantly Yvonne & Edwin got their wish and were just referred adorable twin girls from China. I designed their blog last fall and just got to update their header with their new daughters. They are just too cute!!

Busy Bee

I had a busy week of designing. On Wednesday, I did work for 5 clients! Nicole got all the sidebars updated and adjusted on her blog, DeeDee got the photo in her header updated, Irma got a new header (and I adjusted the width of the blog), Karyn got her referral pics added to her header (which is a service I provide free to my clients that are awaiting referral), and I got started on Pat's new look on her blog. In addition, Lori ordered a makeover! My design queue is getting longer, BUT I can fit YOU in! (Things like blog buttons, graphics, and updates are done quickly. The wait for a makeover is about 7-10 days, but I have flexible clients and if you need something done sooner...I'd bump you near the front of the line!!!)

Today I created new blog buttons, put the finishing touches on Pat's proof, and started working on a new design for this blog!! And the day is not done...
