It's that time of year where people start to think about their holiday cards. Here at CBD I offer custom holiday card designs. I will create your card and provide you with a high quality* jpg of your card that you can have printed at Wink Flash. CBD has a new look!
As you can see, Custom Blog Designs has a new look. It's been something I've had in the works for several weeks...I just haven't had time to install. I plan on keeping this design for at least a year. I feel it's important to give Custom Blog Designs a recognizable look. I know it's not my normal scrappy style, but it's cute! I will change the (black) background from time to time...and I might make some minor tweaks to the overall design, but I am keeping the flowers, tree, birds, and purple! I've created new buttons and uploaded them to replace the old ones, so those of you who had a button up will see the new graphics on your blog.

I've been getting more and more makeover requests and the wait to begin a new design is approaching 2 weeks. For those who don't want to wait more than a few days for their makeover, a $10 fee can be paid on top of the makeover fee to jump to the top of my design queue.

CBD Now Offers Custom Twitter Backgrounds
I have added Custom Twitter Backgrounds to my list of services here at Custom Blog Designs. If you have ordered or had a makeover done by me then the custom background is $12. If you just need the background and haven't ordered a makeover the cost is $17*. These fees include installation and custom colorization to match the background.

That I do more than just blog makeovers? Lately I've been doing little projects like blog buttons, changing backgrounds, centering & organizing sidebars, adding new widgets, custom graphics, adding digital snow, digital scrapbook layouts and more. And my prices are VERY reasonable!!! Just take a look.
Here is Amanda's new button (that she got from my giveaway). She is a new blogger and wanted something simple.
Andreah is having a birthday bash giveaway in January and commissioned me to make this button for her. I also updated the blog code to include numbering on her comments. Both of these were $10. (notice the scalloped edges?)
I charge $5 for a basic button, $6 for the button with the posting widget, or $10 for an animated (moving/blinking) button. Most designers start at $10 for a blog button.
My friend Robin needed the Christmas background, accents, and signature updated now that Christmas is over. I only charged her $10 for this since this was the 2nd time I'd done it. It might be more like $12-15 for a new client. Robin even had a makeover done a while back by another designer, but I was still happy to change just the particulars she wanted.
I have 2 bloggers that have me on retainer. They each paid me $30. I am cleaning up/centering all the graphics/links on their sidebars and they will continue to send me stuff to add/update. It's hard to quote exactly how much work that is, but I am a fair person and tend to sell myself a little short, so they will get plenty of work out of me.
Another blogger paid me $10 to redo several blog posts and then I created a tutorial for her with specifics on posting photos and slide shows.
And of course I do custom digital scrapbooking. My services and fees our outlined here. My best client is Kim. I've been trying to teach her how to scrap via IM and she's been frustrated with it, so she just orders from me. Here is some of the things I've made~

New Customization Offered!
I just finished Karyn's blog. She wanted me to add a bow in between posts. It took a little trial and error, but I figured it out. So I now offer this service of putting an image between blog posts. When Karyn gets her referral, I will be adding the photos into the header for free! (I offer this service to anyone awaiting a referral.)

Premium Blog Makeover Service Offered
I am now offering another new service called a Premium Blog Makeover for $65. With this service I will create a unique and personalized blog design to your liking which will include an animated custom header, a background (either solid or print) to match, custom coloring, a custom site icon to replace the orange B of blogger up on the browser bar, and a custom signature that will appear on all new posts.
You can see samples of an animated header at the top of this blog or below. As you can see with the 1st header below (click to see it on the blog) that the quality of the photo is compromised with animation, therefore I encourage you to use very few or no photos for this blog service.
